Photomatix and CS4 - best combo ever.

To be honest with you, I really can't tell the difference between RAW & JPEG.  I actually think JPEG fine produces better looking pictures when shooting on the go.  Basically, I switched over to RAW cause I enjoy using its photo editing software more than the default Photoshop CS2 interface.  Anyways, it don't really matter 'cause I'm saving the image back to JPEG in the end.  But to get to that point, I had to go through a few obstacles. Been trying to work on my Land/Waterscapes.  It eluded me why my point-n-click camera was taking pictures with greater focal length than my DSLR.  But ain't it such a great time we're in where an amateur can learn almost anything they're curious 'bout by simply searching the web.  Gosh, I love it!  With a mere stroke of a few keys and a little mouse clicking here and there, all the info you need is right in front of your face.  And you know what, the web's even given me confidence in changing out my car's suspension by myself.
